I'm sure plenty of us remember this piece of work in Central Park in 2005. When I saw these photos, I didn't think much of it. I thought it was interesting and added an extra value to an already beautiful park. I recently watched a documentary on HBO called
"The Gates" and it tells the story of Christo and Jean-Claude (Christo's wife), the artists behind the work. I didn't realize there was so much controversy in putting up these pieces. Many people against Christo believed that he would be vandalizing an already beautiful piece of art, Central Park. It was an interesting take on how people view art. The comments people made about it ruining the nature of the park were a little outlandish. I suggest you take a look!
